Éva Gerőházi and Hanna Szemző participated at the international conference on the „Energy Efficient Renewal of Housing Cooperatives and Condominiums” organised by the National Association of Housing Cooperatives on April 28, 2016 in Budapest. The presentation focused on the comparison of four Central European countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania) with regard to their different subsidy systems aiming at the energy efficient renewal of their housing stock. More precisely it took into consideration their target group, their subsidy content, their institutional background , their change in time and also the analysis of their relative advantages. The presentation was based on the study completed for Habitat for Humanity International in the summer of 2015.
